Home of ESS x Mankovsky Gallery - unique photo art
This art:
Jordi Cervera
Spanish photographer, painter, performance and media artist. Jordi approaches a wide range of subjects in a versatile way, involving engagement in a metaphorical, sometimes even physical way, and believes in the idea of form-following-function in all his work.
Jordi wants to capture moments with his photography, moments where the actual event is still taking place, or has just ended. A moment where the drama is unfolding elsewhere while the build-up of tension is frozen and becomes an eternal memory.
"I want my work to be both touchingly beautiful and on the other hand painfully attractive." - Jordi Cervera.
This is Mankovsky Gallery
Mankovsky Gallery is an online-based contemporary art gallery with creative spaces in Stockholm and Gothenburg. The artworks we exhibit are represented by us globally and offered in limited, numbered, and certificate-signed editions. We showcase a mix of emerging talents and established artists with proven blue-chip potential. We offer stunning art in areas such as photography, painting, sculpture, lifestyle concepts, and digital design. Mankovsky Gallery was founded on the idea of discovering unique artists who are completely obsessed with their specific niche of creative expression. Therefore, we do not cater to everyone, but rather to clients seeking something specific for their collection and walls.
Production process:
Each giclée art print consists of several manual steps before being completed. Each print is hand-cut on a cutting table, quality-assured by a master printer, hand-numbered on the artwork as well as on the accompanying certificate of authenticity, and stamped with the "Mankovsky" - embossed seal in the lower left corner. In the final steps, before shipping to clients, we wrap the artwork in tissue paper, add an artist-signed certificate of authenticity, and place everything in a midnight black custom art bag tied with a silk ribbon with a pair of black nitrile gloves for the client's use when handling the artwork during unpacking .
